SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has released SSC JE 2019 Admit Card for the Junior Engineer recruitment exam 2019. SSC JE Exam Pattern
SSC conducts JE exam in two phases of Tier 1 and Tier 2.
Tier 1 is Objective Based Online Mode Exam, contains questions paper of 200 marks to be done in 2 hours of duration. Paper 1 consists of three sections of General Intelligence, General Awareness and General Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical).
Tier 2 is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Based Offline Mode (Pen and Paper) Exam, contains a question paper of 300 marks to be completed in 2 hours. It contains the questions based on General Engineering (Civil & Structural), (Electrical) or (Mechanical) as per candidates choice.
SSC JE Tier 1/ Preliminary
Tier 1 is Objective Based Online Exam, which is of 2 hours and contains 200 marks. Tier 1 consists of 3 sections, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical), which are of 200 marks as a whole. Among these, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness are of 50 marks each and General Engineering (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical) is of 100 marks. A composite time duration of 2 hours is required to complete the exam.

SSC JE Tier 2/ Preliminary
Tier 2 is MCQ Based Offline Mode (Pen and Paper) Exam. Candidates have to attend a question paper of 300 marks in 2 hours. Tier II is a convenient type exam, candidate have to choose the subject from General Engineering (Civil & Structural/ Electrical/ Mechanical).
