June Retail Inflation Worsens To 6.09% From 5.84% In March

June retail inflation came at 6.09 per cent

Inflation based on Consumer Price Index (CPI), or retail inflation for the month of June came at 6.09 per cent, according to government data released on Monday. Notably, for April and May, the government had released numbers only for food inflation and not the entire index due to lack of data owing to the coronavirus lockdown. In March, retail inflation had come at 5.84 per cent.
